What is Random Daily Urls?
Random Daily Urls is a free daily email newsletter that delivers one interesting link to your inbox every weekday. No lists, no hot takes, no AI—just a single URL handpicked by longtime internet builder Steven Irby. Each link points to a website that might be weird, wonderful, old, obscure, or simply worth a second look.
The goal is to entertain, surprise, and remind you that the web is still alive with personal sites, experiments, and hidden gems. Along the way, you’ll see corners of the internet that aren’t on the first page of any search engine. The commentary is minimal, so you decide what each site means.
If you miss when websites felt like someone made them, this newsletter is for you. It’s perfect for those who don’t need to be told what to think and enjoy things that don’t have a point. Not for those seeking tools, tips, or optimization.
